We recently had a global company ask us to design a custom team-building event for their local manufacturing and distribution facility with about 40 employees. Their goals were to break down silos, encourage courageous communication, and quickly align on process. We created a "who-done-it" with escape room style puzzles, a custom scoring system, and teams were mixed from different departments. It wasn't just about solving the mystery. We watched teams realize they were limiting themselves by not questioning "the rules." We saw groups spend 4 minutes on a task that required 2, simply because they didn't stop to clarify the objective. As the Head of HR noted afterward, the building was "a buzz" the next morning.
